Almost 25 percent of Zambia’s children attend overcrowded community schools which are plagued with poor infrastructure, limited classroom seating capacity and learning tools. Community schools suffer from a shortage of trained teaching staff and often have to rely on untrained volunteers. Build The Future Campaign is made up of two key sub campaigns which is the Book Fund and Build A Classroom campaigns. Through these campaigns we intend to improve the quality of education and increase school attendance in severely underfunded community schools for over 250,000 vulnerable children across Zambia.

Every Child Deserves A Chance, It Begins With One Book
Through Our Book Fund Campaign we are providing essential textbooks and Teacher’s guides required for learning in community schools. While it only costs about ZMW56 (US$3.20) per child sharing, children learn without the necessary textbooks or often have to share a book amongst many other children. By Partnering with us you can help us provide much needed basic textbooks and teachers guides required to improve the quality of education for many vulnerable children.

Help Us Build A Classroom And Transform A Child’s Life
Through Build A Classroom campaign we will focus on rehabilitation of classroom infrastructure in order to not only improve the quality of the learning environment but increase capacity to increase school attendance. Classroom rehabilitation will include increasing desk capacity, installation of windows, doors, writing boards and other learning infrastructure requirements.

We believe that in order to achieve sustainable transformation in the lives of our beneficiaries, Transparency should be at the core of our partnerships. To achieve this, we work closely with our partners with full accountability of all support, that includes arrangement of site visits of the targeted beneficiaries and acknowledgement of support by our beneficiary schools. We also accept in — kind support that may include donations in the form of actual learning and building materials as well as technical support around infrastructure.
