WHAT WE DO

EDUCATION SUPPORT

As Simpact Foundation we believe that every child has a right to have a quality education that gives them a fighting chance to step out of the cycle of poverty. Additionally we can combine donor funding and impact investment returns to create a sustainable and resilient funding source to address the need for quality education in poor communities.
Our education support programs are focused on increasing access to education and better nutrition for vulnerable children in the communities we operate in. We achieve this through providing funding; for learning tools, education facilities and school feeding programs that provides basic nutrition at the most critical growth stage.

WOMEN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

About 70 percent of the world’s poor are women who have limited access to financial and physical capital required to step out of poverty. Globally, women earn about 25 % less than men while Zambian women earn 23.4% less than men.
As Simpact Foundation we believe that women’s economic empowerment is pivotal in achieving gender equality and sustainable development. It has been widely established that economic empowerment of women is one of the most effective ways to achieve gender equality.

Through our school feeding programs we not only help provide basic nutrition and increase school
attendance for many vulnerable children, we also help to avert child marriages.

Our school feeding program only cost $1.50 to feed a child breakfast for a month
